Pedro Pinacho-Davidson is an assistant professor at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of the University of Concepción in Chile. He is also an associate researcher at the Center for Manufacturing 4.0, the director of Ornitorrinco Labs, and a member of the Combinatorial Optimization Research Group1. He has a PhD in Computer Engineering from the University of the Basque Country in Spain.

He is an expert in machine learning, artificial intelligence, artificial life and metaheuristics.
