Research Assistants

I’m an Industrial Engineer and a Computer Science Master’s student. At the moment, I am working on the application of multi-source domain adaptation in the classification of supernovae.

I’m a Computer Science Engineer undergrad student recently diving in the field of Deep Learning. Together with José Zagal we’ve been working in a project about bias detection in gender face recognition deep neural network architectures.

Reseach Interests

I’m a biomedical engineer, and hold a masters degree in computer science. My research interests are focused in the application of deep learning on medical images from cancer patients.

My current research is focused in deep learning applied to computer vision tasks, especially in how we can create good accurate models using the less amount of labels as possible.

I´m an Industrial Engineering. I’m interested in applying deep learning models to computer vision tasks, in order to locate and count trees in forest areas

I’m an Industrial Engineering undergraduate student interested in deep learning applied to computer vision tasks. I’m currently working on the comparison of deep learning models for the classification and segmentation of areas of forest interest.

I’m a biomedical engineer, now doing my masters in electrical engineering. I’m interested in applying deep learning techniques to different human diseases, currently focused in COVID-19.

I’m a computer science undergrad student, working on creating a new framework for getting light curves data from different astronomical catalogs, creating python modules and new APIs to access them through the ALeRCE system.

Your Title

I am a Biomedical engineer. My current research is in deep learning applied to named entity recognition and natural language processing in medical texts.

Your Title

I hold a B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering –which is a business administration related program– from University of Concepción and I am pursuing a M.Sc. in Computer Science at the same institution. I am currently combining both fields working on a machine learning model for a financial entity with the aim of lead its directed marketing in a more effective way.

Research Interests

My current research is focused on the application of machine learning in massive sequencing data (NGS) for the prediction and detection of cancer and analysis of genetic variation.
