- You should be able to answer the following questions:
-
- What are the differences or why do we need to model not only
single but collections of objects?
- What types of abstractions are needed in SDBs?
- Consider the following spatial
configuration and define its representation based on:
- - a regular tessellation
- - spagetti vector representation
- - simplicial complexes
- - graph-based representation
- - constraints-based representation

Assignment I: (deadline Abril 19, 2005)
- Using Java or C++, implement the data structures that allow the representation
of objects using simplicial complexes or a topological model. Implement
a simple user interface that allows the display of spatial objects.
As an example, display the configuration of spatial objects that represent
a map of the neighborhood were you live. Consider the most relevant
places or spatial objects of your neighborhood.
